TV's Peter Krause to make Broadway debut

NEW YORK,, March 17 (UPI) -- Peter Krause, who starred in the HBO hit "Six Feet Under," will make his Broadway debut June 25 in a revival of Arthur Miller's "After the Fall."

A spokesman for the Roundabout Theater Company revival said Tuesday Krause will play the role of Quentin. Miller wrote the play about his ex-wife Marilyn Monroe and the play's attorney is usually considered the stand-in for Miller. The original Quentin in the 1964 premiere of the work was Jason Robards.

Krause, who was nominated for an Emmy for his HBO performance, may never have played Broadway before but he worked in the theater district as an aspiring actor, selling candy in theater lobbies at intermissions of such shows as "Cats" and "Starlight Express."

Miller is reported to be working on another play about his experiences with Monroe, to be titled "Finishing the Picture." It will deal with Monroe's Hollywood career and her relationship to drama coach Lee Strasberg of the Actors Studio.
