LONDON, March 11 (UPI) -- British star Keira Knightley, who won Orlando Bloom's heart in "Pirates of the Caribbean," says in Vanity Fair's April issue that she can't get a boyfriend.
"Maybe it's because I'm too thick to realize but very few people have chatted me up," the 18-year-old actress said in the interview, London's Mirror reported Thursday.
"And maybe I'm just a sad person and I don't sit at enough bars. But that's OK, I've got time."
Knightley, whose first big film break was "Bend It Like Beckham," said she thinks people expect her to be glamorous.
"I think I always disappoint people," she said, "because they always expect someone very pretty, very done."
Knightley can next be seen later this year as Guinevere in "King Arthur." She currently is filming "The Jacket" in Glasgow.
The April issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands Thursday.
