LONDON, March 11 (UPI) -- The former fiancee of Blue singer Anthony Costa has given birth to his daughter after a 48-hour delivery at a London hospital.
Lucy Bolster gave birth Wednesday to a girl named Emily, who weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces, Sky News reported Thursday.
A spokesman said: "Mother and baby are doing fine. Anthony wanted to be there for the birth and wanted to spend some time with the baby."
Costa, 22, had proposed to his 23-year-old girlfriend on the Costa del Sol, but they ended their two year relationship before Christmas, when she was six months pregnant.
"Something like this brings any differences they had to the table," a spokesman for the band said. "They sorted out their differences very recently."
Costa spent the day with mother and baby.
