LOS ANGELES, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Before the movie "Starsky & Hutch" opens March 5 in U.S. theaters, the TV Land cable channel will host a marathon of "Starsky & Hutch" TV show reruns.

On March 4, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, along with Vince Vaughn, Carmen Electra, Amy Smart and Snoop Dogg -- stars of the "Starsky & Hutch" movie -- will host the six-hour programming marathon of the 1970s original TV show, which starred David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser.

"Starsky & Hutch represents the epitome of 1970s cool," Larry Jones, president, of TV Land and Nick at Nite, said in a statement. "TV Land is the perfect platform from which to celebrate this classic TV show and the release of the movie for die-hard fans everywhere."

From their thoughts on the film's wardrobe -- tight jeans and leather jackets -- Stiller and Wilson will share how they got into character and their thoughts on working on the film.

Additionally, Snoop Dogg provides a guide to working an 8-track machine.
