LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Los Angeles-based NBC has cast "Independence Day" star Jeff Goldblum in a sit-com pilot for next season, the Hollywood Reporter says.
Called "My 11:30," the show will be penned by former "Mad About You" star Paul Reiser, who will also serve as executive producer.
In the sit-com, Goldblum will play a stressed-out Wall Street type seeking help from a down-to-earth therapist.
Also heading to or returning to the small screen are former "Taxi" star Christopher Lloyd, "Dead Poets Society" actor Robert Sean Leonard and "Party of Five" actress Jennifer Aspen.
Lloyd will star in the CBS pilot "Clubhouse," opposite Dean Cain and Mare Winningham. Lloyd will play a retired baseball coach in the drama about a batboy for the New York Yankees.
Leonard will play an oncologist in an untitled FOX drama about a team of doctors who work on difficult-to-diagnose medical cases.
Aspen has joined an ABC comedy playing comedian Rodney Carrington's wife.
