"The idea was to create an opportunity for me to record with some of my all-time favorite trumpet players, a number of whom, like Eddie Henderson, Bobby Shew and Ryan Kisor, I¹d not worked with beforehand," Davis said.

The others included jazz players Tom Harrell, Randy Brecke, Scott Wendholt, Chris Botti, Malcolm McNab and Chuck Findley, the New York Philharmonic's Phil Smith and studio ace Jim Hynes.

Davis, 42, has worked in studio and-or in concert with some of the entertainment world¹s biggest stars, including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, Sarah Vaughan, Sting, Harry Connick, Jr., Beck, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Lyle Lovett and the Rolling Stones.
