Rolling Stone reported the trio of performers will join Janet Jackson, who was previously announced to anchor the halftime entertainment program. Nelly returns to the Super Bow, after performing with Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige and Aerosmith at halftime in 2001.
This year, Aerosmith will headline the pregame festivities. Among the other entertainment set to precede the kickoff will be Beyonce singing the national anthem and Josh Groban singing his new single, "You Raise Me Up," as a tribute to the space shuttle Columbia's crew.
Super Bowl XXXVIII will air live on CBS on Feb. 1.
