Hannigan will take the role made famous by Meg Ryan in the movie version, with Perry taking on the part played by Billy Crystal.

The play, adapted from the film's screenplay by Nora Ephron, will follow a man and woman who through the years go from enemies to friends to lovers and back again, all the while questioning if men and women can be friends once sex gets in the way.

The play is scheduled to begin previews Feb. 10 at the Theater Royal, with a 16-week run starting Feb. 20.
