NEW YORK, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Liza Minnelli is suing her estranged hubby David Gest for $2 million for allegedly cheating her, the New York Post reported.
The legal action was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Friday and first posted on TheSmokingGun.com Web site, the Post said.
The lawsuit, filed one month after Gest sued her for $10 million for allegedly beating him up in alcohol-fueled rages, alleges Gest threatened to fire any employee who questioned his "business practices and ethics."
The lawsuit said, Gest "constantly berated Minnelli in public and began holding himself out as the 'star,'" while Minnelli is described as "a uniquely talented actress, singer, dancer and entertainer."
The 57-year-old singer's lawsuit said she agreed to pay Gest 10 percent for managing her, but that he soon "began putting his interests before her interests," refusing projects "unless they included him," the Post said.
"Eventually undertook "a wholesale pattern of conduct ... to damage Minnelli's name and reputation as an actress and performer," the lawsuit said.
