NEW YORK, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- New York's famed Stage Deli has named a sandwich for Broadway and film star Mark Hamill.
Hamill is currently acting in the comedy "Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks" at Broadway's Belasco Theatre.
In the play, Polly Bergen portrays Lily Harrison, a formidable Florida retiree, who has hired a
dance instructor for six weeks. Much to her dismay, she is greeted by acerbic, transplanted New Yorker Michael Minetti (Hamill).
After a rocky start, Michael and Lily soon learn they have more in common than either could have imagined. A smart comedy about the nature of friendship, "Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks" invites us to cherish the partners we choose, say the show's producers.
Best-known for playing Luke Skywalker in the original "Star Wars" epics, Hamill has enjoyed great success in recent years acting on stage and lending his distinctive voice to animated television and film characters.
