'Saving Jessica Lynch' tells of rescue

BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- NBC is presenting the first 40 minutes of "Saving Jessica Lynch," the story of the rescue of Pfc. Jessica Lynch, without commercials.

The made-for-television movie about the ambush of the 507th Maintenance Company and Lynch's liberation from an Iraqi hospital is scheduled to air Nov. 9.

The movie is based on information from the surviving members of the 507th Maintenance Company, Department of Defense reports and the first-person account of Mohammed Al-Rehaief, the Iraqi lawyer who informed the U.S. military of Lynch's whereabouts.

Laura Regan protrays 19-year-old Pfc. Jessica Lynch and Nicholas Guilak stars as Al-Rehaief.
