Randy Quaid on Hollywood Walk of Fame

HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Actor Randy Quaid will be honored with the 2,240th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame -- between Irving Thalberg and Julio Iglesias -- Tuesday.

A movie star for more than two decades, Quaid has moved to the small screen in David E. Kelley's "The Brotherhood of Poland, N.H.," which debuted on CBS.

Quaid, a Golden Globe winner and Oscar and Emmy nominee, is considered a versatile actor. His movies include: "Independence Day," "Pluto Nash," "Not Another Teen Movie," "P.I. McCluskey," "The Last Picture Show," "The Last Detail," "The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz" and "Midnight Express."

He had memorable performances on television as Lyndon Baines Johnson in "LBJ: The Early Years" and Randy Weaver in "Ruby Ridge: An American Tragedy."

His upcoming film roles include: "Milwaukee, Minnesota," "Black Cadillac" and "Carolina."
