PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 7 (UPI) -- The jazz fusion group Yellowjackets and at least three actor-musicians and other area jazz performers will raise money for the Union Station Foundation.

The Sunday evening event at the Los Angeles Music Academy is a benefit for one of the largest private agencies serving the poor and homeless in Pasadena and Greater Los Angeles.

Those joining forces with the Yellowjackets are scheduled to include actor-musicians Adam Arkin, Hector Elizondo and Jeff Goldblum plus guitarist Dori Caymmi, singers Kevyn Lettau and the Perri Sisters, percussionist Michael Shapiro and bassist Jerry Watts.

The 30-year-old Union Station Foundation serves more than 125,000 meals and provides some 21,000 nights of shelter to men, women and families per year. It also offers supportive services to help their clients escape the cycle of homelessness.
