Guthrie, who formerly worked at the Defense Department, joins the ODNI as the agency works to expand its information-sharing, integration and management among the intelligence community. Officials say Guthrie will help support the ODNI's new sharing strategy across 16 intelligence agencies.

"Priscilla's skill in information technology and background in management of a large organization well qualify her to further advance our information-sharing goals," Dennis Blair, director of national intelligence, said in a statement.

"Her prior experience in information management issues unique to national security brings additional strength to this challenge."
