Easter bunny to press charges

BAY CITY, Mich., March 27 (UPI) -- The Easter bunny from a Michigan mall has said he will press charges against a bad egg who allegedly attacked him.

Bryan Johnson, 18, said he was working bunny duty at the Bay City Mall when he was attacked by a 12-year-old boy March 18, the Bay City Times reported.

Johnson told Bay County Sheriff's deputies that he got hit in the face at least six times before the boy ran away. He reportedly did not fight back, and witnesses said the assault was unprovoked. However, Johnson does plan to hit back in court.

"They (deputies) told me it was up to me, and I feel that the boy should be prosecuted," Johnson said.
