March 6 (UPI) -- As his rap persona Childish Gambino, Donald Glover has announced a 13-date North American arena tour for this September in support of his third studio album, Awaken, My Love! The tour begins Sept. 6 at the Infinite Energy Arena in Atlanta before wrapping up Sept. 30 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Glover will also perform in Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Dallas, Los Angeles and elsewhere. Tickets go on sale Friday with pre-sale beginning Tuesday, the actor and musician said on Twitter.
Glover will be joined by rap duo Rae Sremmurd as his opening act.

Awaken, My Love!, released in December 2016, features the hit single "Redbone." Glover recently met on The Late Show with a Girl Scout who went viral with her own version of the song to help sell Girl Scout cookies.
