Dec. 5 (UPI) -- A Delaware woman is celebrating an unusually lucky week after a $250 scratch-off lottery ticket prize led to a $40,000 jackpot.
Stephanie Robinson, 22, told Delaware Lottery officials she usually buys two $5 scratch-offs each week, but she decided to splurge on two extra Willy Wonka Golden Ticket games when she won a $250 prize.
Robinson scratched the tickets in her car after buying them in the Weis Market store in Millville and quickly discovered her lucky streak wasn't over -- she had won $40,000.
"I went back in to scan it right away because I couldn't believe it," Robinson said.
She said she plans to use her winnings to help pay for a new car and to find a new apartment. Robinson said she plans to continue playing the lottery.
