June 19 (UPI) -- The Department of Defense has awarded Advanced Acoustic Concepts a contract to provide software engineering services for mission modules on the Navy's Littoral Combat Ships.
The contract award, from Naval Sea Systems Command and announced on Monday, is valued at more than $12.1 million under the terms of a cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-reimbursement contract, which is a modification to a previous Pentagon award, according to the Defense Department.
