The modified contract taps Space Coast Launch Services LLC, out of Patrick Air Force Base, Florida to provide "operations, maintenance and engineering support to critical launch, spacecraft and ordnance facilities and support systems."

Specifically, the contract services will support the Air Force's 45th Space Wing, whose mission is to assure access to space and to support global operations.

Work on the contract will occur at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, and is expected to be completed in September 2018.

No funds are being obligated at the time of award, the Pentagon said in a press release.
