Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Pentagon officials announced Friday that Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., has been awarded $14.7 million to enhance the automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast out system, among other parts of the communications system on the C-5.
The cost-plus-incentive-fee contract is for the C-5 communications, navigation, surveillance and air traffic management engineering and manufacturing developments programs, the Department of Defense announced last week.
