The contract to OSI Systems' Security division is worth about $21 million and includes a multi-year service agreement for integration and follow on maintenance and support.
"We are very pleased with this award and look forward to serving this key customer through all phases of deployment -- from planning and construction to maintenance and follow on service and support," OSI Systems Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Deepak Chopra said in a press release.
OSI Systems said it will fulfill the order with multiple units of its gantry-based cargo and vehicle inspection system, the Rapiscan Eagle G60. The system provides highly-automated scanning of densely packed cargo.
