Newbegin Enterprises receives contract for online military vehicle parts ordering

Newbegin Enterprises has been awarded a $90.5 million contract for an internet-based, contractor-run parts store for U.S. Air Force vehicles.

Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Newbegin Enterprises has been awarded a $90.5 million contract for an internet-based contractor-run parts store for U.S. Air Force vehicles.

The contract, announced Wednesday by the Department of Defense, calls for the provision of vehicle parts, chemicals and accessories for up to 6,500 vehicles over the next five years in the Central Command area of operations.

The countries involved include Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Syria and Lebanon.

NEI specializes in providing original equipment manufacturer automotive parts for a variety of civilian and military customers. They function as an "Amazon" for vehicle parts with online ordering and shipping. They already have existing contracts with every branch of the U.S. armed forces.

Central Command is the largest command of the U.S. military and is responsible for operations in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, among other locations.
