"At the core of this acquisition are highly valuable national security support capabilities that will allow BE to further expand its already robust suite of services in consulting, computing, cyber and big data analytics," said Dennis Kelly, president and chief executive officer of Buchanan & Edwards. "The addition of R2C will bring BE the strength of new customer relationships within the Intelligence (the intelligence) community at a time when threats are ever-changing and the need for solutions to keep our country safe is growing."

R2C is a nine-year-old company focused on delivering data governance and curation, cyber intelligence, and collection management, which Buchanan & Edwards said will bolster the services it provides to the defense, diplomatic, intelligence and law enforcement communities.

"We're extremely excited to combine the strengths and expertise of the R2C team with the capabilities of Buchanan & Edwards, as together, we become a more powerful asset for our nation," said Katrina Barlow, chief executive of R2C. "By joining forces, we know that we'll be able to continue delivering leading-edge solutions that leverage technological know-how, reduce costs and expand security to support our nation's greatest intelligence and national security needs."
