"Implementation of such large-scale projects in cooperation with national companies will not only leverage capabilities to counter terrorism, crime, and illegal migration more effectively, but also boost the dynamically growing economic and military and technical cooperation of Russia with other countries to a new level," Rosoboronexport representative Boris Simakin said in a press release.

The project includes a data analysis system Rosoboronexport officials say will be able to identify threats from multiple sources at a time. The company also plans to develop hardware for monitoring and forecasting situations, including automated communication systems and weapons.

The IDEAS-2016 exhibition is a conference supported by the armed forces of Pakistan. The event aims to introduce security industry players with technological innovations. The conference is set to run from Nov. 22 through Nov. 25.
