WASHINGTON, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin Aeronautics has received a $21.6 million U.S. Air Force contract modification for work on the F-22 Raptor heads-up display.
The modification to the previously awarded contract will incorporate an engineering change proposal for diminishing manufacturing source and material shortage for the Raptor heads-up display cathode ray tube mitigation to the digital light engine alternative.
