Air Force tags LMI for environmental remediation support

TYSONS, Va., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- LMI, a government consulting company, has received a one-year task order from the U.S. Air Force for environmental remediation support and risk assessment work.

LMI said the order was issued by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center. It is worth more than $500,000.

Additional details of the task order were not disclosed, however.

"The Air Force wants innovative government-leading excellence in performance-based remediation site cleanups and we're here to help," said Scott Recinos, program manager for the task order and program director of LMI's Energy and Environment group.

Subcontractors on LMI's team are the Analysis, Planning, and Management Institute of Culpeper, Va., and the Southwest Research Institute of San Antonio, Texas.
