RESTON, Va., Aug. 14 (UPI) -- The U.S. has given Leidos a prime indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide a range of professional services.

The services to be provided under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services, or OASIS, award will be in the category areas of program management, management consulting, logistics, engineering, scientific, and financial.

Each area will contain significant IT components and commercial and non-commercial requirement support.

"The GSA OASIS award will allow for dynamic growth within the security, engineering, and health solutions marketplaces," said Leidos Nationals Security Sector President Lou Von Thaer. "This vehicle provides our customers with a quick way to meet their professional solutions mission requirements and provides Leidos with a key contract vehicle to perform in our core markets."

OASIS is part of a family of contracts developed to meet the government's need for a hybrid, government-wide acquisition vehicle for professional services and has been awarded to more than 70 companies. It has a five-year term and a single five-year option.
