MCLEAN, Va., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Haystax Technology has acquired NetCentrics Corporation, to create a next-generation cyber-security, analytics and secure computing solutions company.
Financial details of the transaction were not revealed but Haystax, a Virginia-based analytics and cloud computing company, said the companies have a revenue of more than $100 million and will have offices in Northern Virginia, Northern California, North Carolina and Arizona.
"We have very strong cultural alignment and focus on bringing leading-edge technology to our customer's most difficult missions by providing differentiated solutions with innovation and agility," said William B. Van Vleet III, chief executive officer of Haystax.
"The NetCentrics team has proven expertise, strong leadership and complementary skills and capabilities. Their size, scale and infrastructure, along with a strong contract base, provide a formidable foundation for acceleration of growth in a number of critical areas."
NetCentrics provides cyber-security and network management solutions for defense and federal organizations. It will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Haystax.
