CHANTILLY, Va., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- The U.S. Navy has picked Engility Holdings Inc. as a prime contractor on a multimillion-dollar contract for engineering support.
The contract -- with a potential value of $243 million if all options are exercised -- is a five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award and is in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Department, Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems Division in Patuxent River, Md., and St. Inigoes, Md.

Under the award, Engility is eligible to provide systems engineering, prototype development, testing, and integration and evaluation of air traffic and landing equipment used in aircraft and ship platforms.
Engility, headquartered in Virginia, is a provider of specialized technical consulting, program and business support services, and engineering services.
