WASHINGTON, June 4 (UPI) -- U.S. security and risk management company Ridge Global and iJET University are teaming to offer instructor-led security training for executives and others.
Through the collaboration iJET University, a provider of risk management training curricula, will specifically offer Ridge Global's corporate security training courses to its international clients and members.
"Tom Ridge and his team are some of the world's foremost experts on how to build resilient enterprises," said Bruce McIndoe, chief executive officer of iJET. "Their expertise is second to none, so we're excited to bring this level of talent and training to our members."
Tom Ridge, president and chief executive officer of Ridge Global, was the first secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
"Managing risk in today's risk-centric world is key to improving bottom-line growth, increasing shareholder value and ensuring a company's sheer survival," Ridge said in announcing the collaboration. "iJET has been helping major corporations optimize their risk management posture for years. They are an industry leader, and we look forward to working with them on this important training initiative."
Ridge Global said courses will be structured in one-day modules to introduce the fundamentals of corporate security and risk management, including identifying vulnerabilities within their organizations and baseline tools for optimizing corporate security.
