$52M fueling award for Primus

GREENBELT, Md., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted Primus Solutions of Maryland for fueling and related services at Fort Rucker, Ala.

The Class III Petroleum, Oils and Lubricant Refueling and Defueling Services award has a one-year base performance period and four one-year options. Its value is $52 million.

Primus said that under the contract, in support of the U.S. Aviation Center of Excellence at Fort Rucker, it will be responsible for providing personnel, management, facilities, materials, parts, supplies, transportation and equipment to perform functions for aircraft refueling and defueling.

Bulk fuel storage facilities at the center will also be maintained under the award.
