Booz Allen receives NGA task orders

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- The U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has given Booz Allen Hamilton eight major task orders for management and technical services.

The awards come under the Enterprise Support to Management and Resources for Technical Services contract, through which Booz Allen is eligible to provide services to the agency through 2016.

"Booz Allen is well prepared to continue its 30-year partnership with NGA and its predecessor organizations through the ESMARTS contract," said Booz Allen's executive vice president, Richard Wilhelm. "With a superior record of excellence in technical delivery and management, Booz Allen offers a broad set of mission focused capabilities that will enable NGA to efficiently achieve its vision.

"We look forward to working collaboratively with NGA to achieve its objectives for creating richer sets of services and information, delivered to users in more usable forms."

According to Booz Allen, it will support the NGA in developing geospatial intelligence capabilities that data access by agency partners. It will also implement agency initiatives in the areas of content, customer service, open information technology, analytic capabilities, workforce, workplace and functional management.

ESMARTS is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity a contract with a maximum value of $873 million.
