The value of the delivery order from the Marine Corps Systems Command is more than $67 million.

"The MTVR was designed to give Marines improved off-road mobility and since being fielded, it has set the standard for all-terrain vehicle performance," said John Bryant, vice president and general manager of Joint and Marine Corps Programs for Oshkosh Defense.

"The MTVRs delivered under this order will support Marines and Seabees with a wide array of tactical missions and on the most challenging terrain."

The MTVR is available in several variants for the transportation of troops, materials and equipment. Under the delivery order, Oshkosh will supply MK25 Cargo and MK27 and MK28 Extended Cargo variants.

Oshkosh said production of the vehicles ordered is to begin in April and be completed in September 2014.
