VIENNA, Va., April 6 (UPI) -- An intelligence solutions group has been established by A-T Solutions Inc. of Virginia to provide services and technology to the U.S. intelligence community.
A-T said its Intelligence Solutions Group will be led by Kent Berner, former chief operating officer of Innovative Technology Systems Inc., an information technology company, acquired by A-T Solutions in December 2010, which specializes in technology solutions for the intelligence community and the U.S. Department of Defense.
The group will bring together all A-T Solutions intelligence-focused businesses into one unit to leverage the strengths of the company's HUMINT operations with the engineering and technology capabilities of the acquired ITS organization.
A-T Solutions' human intelligence capabilities were established when it acquired Accelligence, a fast-growing intelligence services firm, in 2009.
"Our customers within the intelligence community have a growing need for comprehensive, innovative and highly relevant intelligence solutions and support," said Dennis Kelly, president and chief executive officer of A-T Solutions. "We're pleased to establish this new group after having acquired two intelligence community-focused companies.
