ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- U.S. and European subsidiaries of Northrop Grumman will spotlight airborne warning systems, unmanned aerial systems, radars and other products in Abu Dhabi.
The venue is the 10th International Defense Exhibition & Conference, the largest defense and security event in the Middle East. The exposition is Feb. 20-24.
"Northrop Grumman's strong relationship with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries goes back many decades and is built on a legacy of trust and performance," said Paul B. Kalafos, Jr., vice president surveillance systems, Northrop Grumman's Electronic Systems sector. "Our objective is to continue to work closely with our customers to provide long-term capability solutions and help enhance defense and national security across the region."
At the exhibition, Northrop will showcase products such as warning and control, including the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye and the Multi-role Electronically Scanned Array radar.
The E-2D Advanced Hawkeye program couples a newly designed electronically scanned radar with a matching suite of sensors, avionics, processors, software and displays to provide the most technologically advanced command and control capability available.
The MESA surveillance radar is an advanced airborne surveillance sensor and provides national protection enabling sophisticated air-to-air and maritime coverage and integrated friend-or-foe identification, the company said.
Northrop Grumman's British subsidiary will display its tactical Integrated Tactical Command and Control Services system and Integrated Joint Operational Command and Control Services, while its German subsidiary, Northrop Grumman LITEF, will display its navigation systems for land vehicles, sensors for weapon stabilization, inertial guidance systems for missiles and navigation systems for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft.
