"Our International Cyber Range will provide a real-world simulation environment for organizations to develop, test and deploy advanced strategies in cyberattack, defense, neutralization and resiliency," said Sypris Electronics President John Walsh. "The Sypris cyber range will be an international training ground for global users to access hands-on cybersecurity training and host real-time cyber war games in a secure, clean environment.

"By the end of 2011, our plan is to open the cyber range to users in adjacent markets, such as large financial institutions and teams that protect their critical infrastructure."

Sypris said it expects to leverage support from globally recognized universities and cyber experts, as well as to utilize cutting-edge tools and techniques, to provide a high-caliber, next generation test-bed service for the advancement of global cyber security research.
