RONKONKOMA, N.Y., May 14 (UPI) -- U.S. defense company Raytheon has awarded follow-on contracts to API Technologies Corp. to support the company's targeting and imaging programs.
API Technologies says its Pennsylvania facility will manufacture and deliver electro-mechanical enclosures to Raytheon's California-based Space and Airborne Systems operations.
The approximately $2.3 million contracts also include a production order for electronic circuit cards from API Technologies, a company developing engineered systems, components and secure communications solutions for the defense market.
"With our recent acquisitions, we are now able to provide our global clients with a more diverse product offering that we expect will continue to improve our relationships and increase revenues," Stephen Pudles, API Technologies chief executive officer, said in a statement.
API Technologies says its enclosures and electronic circuit card technologies will support Raytheon's laser targeting and imaging system programs.
