MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 23 (UPI) -- Covia Labs Inc. was selected to demonstrate its encrypted communications software at U.S. Northern Command headquarters in Colorado.
U.S. company Covia Labs announced it will demonstrate its software platform technologies at the 2010 Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration scheduled for June at NORTHCOM.
Covia Labs says its platform, designed to provide various devices and equipment with interoperable encrypted communications capabilities between government agencies, will also be demonstrated at the Dahlgren Naval Surface Warfare Center in Virginia and also the Canada Public Safety command facility as part of the Defense Information Systems Agency-sponsored demonstration.
"Many of today's military operations, especially military-civilian missions, involve multilateral engagements of diverse forces and organizations, each operating with their own equipment and communications systems," Covia Labs Chief Executive Officer David Kahn said in a statement.
"As a result, it is difficult for aligned forces to coordinate operations. There is a strong need for a comprehensive platform that can help tie these diverse systems together on a mission-specific basis."
