NEW YORK, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- The U.S.-based Institute for Defense and Government Advancement is planning a new summit on non-traditional intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
The public service and defense conference organizer IDGA announced plans to hold the first nontraditional intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance event designed to bring military, security and other authorities together to discuss evolving challenges.
IDGA says its three-day Non-Traditional ISR Summit, sponsored by BAE Systems and Digital Results Group, is scheduled for March 22.
"This event will bring together leaders at the Defense Department, Homeland Security Department, as well as state and local police departments to brief on new technologies and lessons learned," Luis Hernandez, IDGA non-traditional ISR project manager, said in a statement.
