CACI awarded follow-on from Army

ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has awarded a follow-on contract to CACI International Inc. to continue providing management, software development and training support.

U.S. company CACI was selected to continue providing its command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support services under the Strategic Services Sourcing contract vehicle.

As part of the $100 million task order, CACI will provide the Army Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications Tactical Program Manager Battle Command with "management support, software development, fielding, training and product support," a news release said.

"We're pleased that this award from Program Executive Office Command Control and Communications Tactical, Project Manager Battle Command provides CACI with another opportunity to support its vital work," Bill Fairl, CACI U.S. Operations president, said in a statement.
