CPI Aero to deliver new order to Air Force

EDGEWOOD, N.Y., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force has released a new order for CPI Aerostructures Inc. to deliver its spoilers and fairings technologies.

U.S. company CPI Aero announced the Air Force has placed a new order with the company under its C-5 TOP contract. As part of the $4.9 million order, CPI Aero will deliver a variety of its spoilers and fairings to the Air Force.

CPI Aero provides engineering along with technical service and parts for several military and civilian helicopters along with fixed-wing aircraft including the surveillance and command engine nose cowl assemblies for E-3A Sentry aircraft also flown by NATO.

With the new order officials say CPI Aero has received a total of $11.9 million in new year-to-date awards.
