RemoteView software upgrade released

STERLING, Va., July 14 (UPI) -- U.S. company Overwatch Geospatial Systems announced the launch of its next-generation RemoteView software with new interoperability and video tools.

Overwatch Geospatial Systems has released its new RemoteView 3.0.6 software upgrade that now includes the company's RVConnect software link and also the V-TRAC full motion video extension.

RemoteView is a geospatial intelligence analysis tool designed to support the defense and intelligence markets among others. With the RVConnect upgrade the RemoteView software can be connected to the Environmental Systems Research Institute's ArcMap technologies.

Officials say the V-TRAC extension is part of an effort by the Overwatch Geospatial Systems to provide RemoteView with a full motion video exploitation tool.

"We continue to work with geospatial intelligence analysts to identify and meet their evolving needs," Jim Dolan, Overwatch Geospatial Systems senior vice president and general manager, said in a statement.

"By bringing products like RVConnect, V-TRAC and RemoteView 3.0.6 to the end user, and providing interoperability with the world-class systems of Environmental Systems Research Institute, our clients achieve greater efficiency resulting in quicker operational decision support."
