Kemet expands series to meet standards

GREENVILLE, S.C., June 29 (UPI) -- Kemet Corp. announced it has expanded its series of tantalum military capacitors in order to meet U.S. Defense Department's testing standards.

South Carolina-based Kemet says its CWR 09, 11, 19, and 29 Series of tantalum military capacitors will be expanded in a move to meet requirements under the U.S. military's T-level of testing.

Kemet, a manufacturer of tantalum and multilayer ceramic capacitor technologies among others, says its series of CWR tantalum military capacitors will be expanded to meet the Defense Department's MIL-PRF-55365 T-level testing requirements.

"Kemet has expanded its CWR product lines to fully meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-55365 T-level testing because this enhancement is important to our military and aerospace customers," Ed Jones, Kemet product manager-specialty products, said in a statement.
