Sikorsky says the comprehensive rotary and fixed wing aircraft repair facility supports nine major aircraft used by militaries and other defense authorities.

"The launch of the Sikorsky Aerospace Services Avionics Center of Excellence further supports our mission to provide complete aftermarket support to the rotary and fixed wing communities," David Adler, Sikorsky Aerospace Services president, said in a statement.

"It positions Sikorsky to fulfill avionics repair and overhaul requirements that traditionally used third-party services. Establishing this capability in-house allows us to better control cost and turn times, resulting in efficient and cost effective solutions for our customers."
