BETHESDA, Md., June 15 (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin has contracted Hamilton Sundstrand to support an F-22 fighter aircraft logistics program at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
U.S. company Lockheed Martin awarded United Technologies subsidiary Hamilton Sundstrand a three-year contract to support performance-based logistics. Under the $10.5 million deal, Hamilton Sundstrand will provide spare parts to support F-22 aircraft generator repairs.
According to a news release, Hamilton Sundstrand and Lockheed Martin "have structured the program to provide detailed parts in a kit that supports the shop technicians making the repairs at the base."
"Hamilton Sundstrand is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Lockheed Martin by supplying main engine and auxiliary generator spare parts for this significant program," Matthew Bromberg, Hamilton Sundstrand Customer Service vice president and general manager, said in a statement.
