ROCKVILLE, Md., June 1 (UPI) -- U.S. defense supplier Allen-Vanguard Corp. has signed a deal to become an official distributor of RedXDefense explosive detection technologies.
U.S. company RedXDefense says it has entered into an agreement that establishes Allen-Vanguard as a distributor of its XPAK portable explosives detection system.
Under the distribution deal, Allen-Vanguard will include RedXDefense's XPAK threat detection technologies as part of its counter-improvise explosive device portfolio offerings.
"This relationship is a natural fit for our respective organizations and will directly benefit our customers by providing them with a sophisticated tool in their counter-IED operations," David Luxton, Allen-Vanguard president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
"The XPAK has already proven itself under the harsh conditions of combat theatres, and we look forward to bringing it to military, police and public safety specialists across our distribution network as part of our comprehensive counter-IED capability."
