SecureInfo awarded follow-on contract

WASHINGTON, May 13 (UPI) -- The U.S. Homeland Security Department has awarded SecureInfo Corp. a follow-on contract to continue supporting certification and accreditation initiatives.

U.S. company SecureInfo was awarded a prime contract by the department to provide its SecureInfo RMS risk management system.

Under the deal, the Homeland Security Department will continue to use the SecureInfo RMS technology to support its certification and accreditation process.

"We are committed to continuing our partnership with (the Department of Homeland Security) and proud to be a part of DHS' mission of protecting the homeland," Christopher Fountain, SecureInfo chief executive, said in a statement.

"Our customers rely on SecureInfo RMS to streamline and standardize (certification and accreditation) processes and enforce adherence to (information technology) security policies. This is especially important in an organization as large and complex as DHS."
