Army selects Future Skies for COBRA

WALL, N.J., May 11 (UPI) -- Future Skies Inc. has been contracted by the U.S. Army to develop a multi-platform that improves decision-making capabilities for soldiers.

The Army has selected U.S. company Future Skies to develop a multi-platform that integrates and synchronizes intelligence and operations functions as part of the Collaborative Battlespace Reasoning and Awareness contract vehicle.

According to a news release, the COBRA contract -- managed by the Army Communications and Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center's Command and Control Directorate in Maryland -- is part of an effort to "shorten and improve war fighter decision cycles and to increase unification of battle command systems."

"We will apply innovative technologies and our detailed knowledge of the battle command environment to develop advanced capabilities for the war fighter," James Pari, Future Skies business development director, said in a statement.
