RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., April 29 (UPI) -- North Carolina-based Cyberlux Corp. announced the launch of a new white-light portable-lighting technology for use by defense and homeland-security authorities.
Cyberlux has released its new WhiteEye Tactical Illumination Systems. The next-generation WhiteEye system is designed to expand on the company's lighting solutions to address evolving requirements of the military, first responders and others.
Company officials said the WhiteEye integrates its military-grade BrightEye lighting technology for a new white-only lighting system in a move to advance lighting capabilities during deployment.
"The WhiteEye Tactical Illumination System product line is an expansion of our successful BrightEye products intended for customers who only require white, visible lighting," Mark Schmidt, Cyberlux president and chief executive, said in a statement.
"We look forward to having our new WhiteEye Tactical Illumination System products become the products of choice to replace existing incandescent-based portable-lighting capabilities."
