The widely deployed AN/PVS-14 goggles are a ruggedized and lightweight night-vision goggle that can support weapon-mounted and camera applications along with normal headgear usage. Officials said the announced order is the fifth largest the company has received as part of its Omnibus VII contract with the Army.

"The Omnibus VII contract has allowed us to provide the Army with night-vision goggles that are a critical component for soldiers to safely perform nighttime missions," Mike Hayman, ITT Night Vision president and general manager, said in a statement.

"We are excited to receive this latest order and are even prouder to support our nation's war fighters."
